The city of Worcester is a vibrant cathedral city in the heart of the West Midlands, blending nearly 1000 years of history with modern commercial ambition. Dominated by the magnificent Worcester Cathedral and shaped by the River Severn, Worcester played a pivotal role in English history, most notably during the Battle of Worcester in 1651, the final clash of the English Civil War.
Today, its rich heritage sits alongside a dynamic and growing economy. With strong transport links to Birmingham, Bristol and London, a thriving high street, expanding retail and leisure developments, and key sites such as Sixways Stadium supporting sport and events, Worcester offers attractive opportunities across retail, hospitality, professional services and creative industries. Its combination of historic character, skilled local workforce and ongoing regeneration makes it an appealing destination for both investment and business growth
Our home on matchdays, Sixways Stadium, offers facilities unmatched by any other club at this level and in Tier 3 and even 2, ensuring we can meet league and FA criteria as we climb the pyramid as set out in our strategic plan.
At over 9,000 seats and parking for 1,000 vehicles, Sixways is located just off the M5 at Junction 6, making the transport links easy for all to negotiate.
Since the 2023/24 season, we have grown our fan base to a consistent level of over 200 per home league game, with several fixtures hitting over 500 fans. This puts us amongst the top clubs for attendance compared to the majority of teams in the league above Tier 4. On occasions, we have sat 3rd in attendance across Tiers 3 and 4, behind only Newcastle United & Leeds United.
Worcester City Women FC is a fully independent, female-owned, and self-sustaining club in the FA Women’s National League - and we’re building something truly different. On the pitch, we have a clear but realistic ambition and roadmap to climb the pyramid in the next five years and compete at the top level. But this is about more than performance. We’re here to redefine what a modern football club can be and stand for, and also be a purpose-led platform that not only accelerates the profile of the women’s game, but also acts as a force for social good, by empowering girls and women to sustainably break through barriers, on and off the pitch.
We’re not tied to tradition or governed by a men’s club - we’re proudly charting our own course, and we’re inviting the right people to join us on this purpose, people and performance-led journey to make football and wider sport, fairer, stronger, and more ambitious and sustainable for females everywhere.
We’re building more than a football club – we’re creating a movement that inspires, empowers, and drives real change for women and girls in sport. As one of the few independent, female-owned clubs in the country, every partnership directly fuels our mission: developing talent, growing opportunities, and providing a platform for women to thrive on and off the pitch.
By partnering with WCWFC, your company becomes part of an ambitious journey – from grassroots to the top – while connecting with a passionate and growing fanbase. Our sponsors enjoy meaningful exposure, community engagement opportunities, and the chance to align with a club that represents progress, equality, and purpose.

Our new 5 year strategy aims to build on the strong foundations laid our previous strategy from 2021-2024, which saw us meet our main goal of becoming a National League club on and off the pitch. In years 2025/2026 we have focused on consolidation of our National League status and built a solid platform to accelerate our growth to the next level of being ‘WSL Ready’ by 2030.
